Why work with me

A website, and a person who answers.

  1. 01

    One person, start to finish.

You talk to the person who designs your site, builds it, and keeps it running. Questions come straight to me.

  2. 02

    Built for phones first.

Most of your customers will find you on a phone, often on a weak signal. Every page is built for that first, then scaled up to bigger screens.

  3. 03

    Your domain, handled.

Already have one? We'll get on a call and connect it together. Don't have one yet? You pick it, and it's registered in your name.

  4. 04

    Fast anywhere in Alaska.

Your site runs on a global network and loads over a secure connection, whether your customer is in town or out on the road.

What I build

Websites, and the software behind them.

Websites of every kind

Local shops and contractors. Clinics and healthcare practices. State agencies and nonprofits. Tour operators. Each one is designed from the business up, never from a template.

  • Custom design
  • Fast on phones
  • Search basics built in
  • Accessibility built in

Custom apps and back ends

For when a website isn't enough. Software that fits the way you already work, so the paperwork runs itself.

  • Quotes customers sign online
  • Invoices they pay online
  • Job and project tracking
  • Client portals
  • Online booking
  • Internal tools

Quoted per project, in writing, before any work starts.

Process

From first call to launch, in days.

A small business website shouldn't be a six-month project. Here's how it actually goes.

  1. 01

    We talk

Thirty minutes, in person or on the phone. By the end, we'll both know if it's a fit.

  2. 02

    Content and photos

A short intake: the facts about your business and the photos you already have. No photos yet? We'll work out a plan.

  3. 03

    I build it

Usually within days of having your content. You get a private preview link, and nothing goes live without your OK.

  4. 04

    Launch

Your domain gets connected, your Google listing gets checked against the site, and every page gets tested on real phones.

  5. 05

    Kept running

For the first 60 days, I adjust anything while we dial it in. After that, your content updates are covered every month.

Pricing

One plan. The price is public.

Most shops make you book a call to hear a number. Here's mine.

$150a month

Build included · 12-month first term

  • Design and build of your website
  • Hosting, SSL, and domain setup
  • Uptime monitoring and security updates

The build is worth $1,800, and it's waived once you finish the first 12 months. If you leave early, you pay the remaining months at $150 each. After the first year, it's month to month with 30 days' notice.

Questions

Answered straight.

What's the catch with the build being included?

The build is worth $1,800, and it's waived once you finish the first 12 months. Leave early and you pay the remaining months at $150 each, which covers the build you already have. That's the whole catch, and the contract says it in those words.

Who owns the domain and the content?

You do. The domain is registered in your name and the content is yours. If you ever leave in good standing, you get a working export of your site at no charge.

How long does a build take?

Days once I have your content, not months. The usual holdup is photos and text, which is why we start with a short intake.

What if I want to cancel?

After the first year it's month to month with 30 days' notice. During the first year, the early-exit math above applies. No extra fees and no phone maze. It's an email.

What happens if something happens to you?

Fair question for a one-person business. You hold the domain, your site keeps running on its hosting, and you're entitled to a full export. Nothing about your business is stuck in my head.

Do you build for healthcare, government, and nonprofits?

Yes. Accessibility is built into every site I make, and I'll work within your organization's requirements. Tell me what you need on the first call.

Tell me what you do.

A couple of sentences is enough. You'll get an honest reply from the person who builds it.
